Site News & Statistics
As soon as you login into the admin area, you are briefed with some vital
information about your website.
TheRandomizer news system contains information updates and other important
announcements. This news is directly downloaded from our news server. Below
this, some statistical information on the number of hits and number of signups
is shown.
On the right panel, a Site Statistic table shows details about total number
of users, unique hits and page impressions. It also shows the best sponsor for
the site.
Below this table is the alexa rank indicator. It displays the current traffic
rank of your website as rated by Alexa.

TheRandomizer comes with an inbuilt news system for your website. Once you
select the Site News option in the admin area, you are presented with the
following screen.
The News system allows you to send a small news update to your
members as well as advertisers. You can decide the start date of the news. This
new is displayed in the right panel of member and advertiser area. For design
and optimization purposes, only two most recent news items are displayed to the
members.

Once you select the statistics page, you are presented with various statistics
about your randomizer site. These include the hits report and the top ten
referrers. If you click on any of the hit reports, a more detailed report is
presented as shown below.
The detailed stats show the following information
- Date: The date and time at which the visitor came to the site.
- IP: The Internet Protocol Address of the machine (computer) used
for accessing the site.
- Referrer: The site from which the user was referred to your site.
- Country: The country to which the visitor's IP address belongs to.
- Browser: The type of browser that the visitor used for visiting our
site. Eg, IE (Internet Explorer), Opera, etc.
- Operating System: The operating system installed on your visitor's
machine. Eg, Windows XP, Linux etc.
- Pages: The number of pages that the visitor surfed on your site
before leaving.
