I would like to see the program be able to take money from new signups with say PayPal only and be able to make the payment to Member X who uses say StormPay.

Since the script includes 5 Payment Gateways (in current version) - it is shame to have to offer only one - without FORCING members to signup for all of them. And if they do it makes it harder on them to collect them all - I know I have signed up for them all - including AlertPay - and to get the funds from some of them is not an easy task.

Of course my personal fav is PayPal - have used them for years without a hitch. Which is why I choose them (besides I don't care for StormPays strong arm tactics).

I don't know what kind of alternative we can offer, either they use one or all it's up to them, but I know what you mean, Stormpay is getting to be a real pain too, I had used Paypal for years until they shut me down multiple times and now I can't use them at all anymore...Long Story, but they are strongarms themselves...
