Hi
I get this error when trying to run install.php on my browser
extension_dir does not exists /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429
as you installed 3.0 for me I have asked if the upgrade could be installed but have not had a reply so am trying it myself. You have my CP details, if you need ftp details let me know.
thanks

copied SourceGuardian files to ixed dir in binary.
I still get
extension_dir does not exists /usr/local/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20020429
when trying to run install.php
can you look into this admin?
thanks

Hey, you got problem with the installation?
Huh.. I had never seen this problem before. Don't know what its mean but something with PHP.

I didn't do anything. I just uploaded the files & folders then went to install.php and done the rest of it in a min. |

Hi Richard,
Check your email. It looks like there is some php settings error on your server. Ask you hosting company to check the server php settings. Keep us updated

Hi,
Just upload the files in adminarea again in binary mode.

OK, will try that.
As a general comment which may be helpful to others, the new encryption in v3.1 looks very different to that in 3.0. When uploading files the ftp software set on auto will normally transfer php files as ascii. This is no problem for open source php files but should all encrypted php files be forced to transfer in binary?
thanks

Hi Richard,
php scripts (encrypted or otherwise) should be uploaded in binary mode. If you keep your FTP client to "auto", it will automatically detect this and upload the files in binary
V3.1 is using a better encryption technique. Execution of the v3.1 script files should be faster than v3.0
Best regards
