How about some instructions for the upgrade to 2.4? I have some guesses but I don't want to screw up the current site. Please help.

Hi Billkard,

I am not Daniel or an expert on the script but it looks like if you edit the config.php and the db connect.php then upload all the files in the update to your server in the folders that they are in all you need to do is to run the upgrade.php file by calling it in your browser and you should be done. One one warning if you have customized any of the other files that you see in the upgrade then you will have to have them customized again before you upload them.

Daniel if this isn't right please correct it.

hi!
If you bought the script yesterday you have to run just install.php.
If you bought 2.3 first you have to install it and after that to upload 2.4 files and run the upgrade file.
Upgrade successful

Hi everyone,
Just wanted to say that I got the upgrade up and running. Looks good and so far no problems. Just wondering though on the database, can you lower the mb without deleting hits? Or flushing them? Not sure how to do this.
Thanks
Paula

Hi!
You may remove the IP2Country at any time(42000 records).
The site will still work without that table.

Hi Daniel,
LOL went to go delete it and I didnt even have it running. I checked in myphp admin and its just the hits. Its taking 696,220 bytes. I did take the db_sconnect and took the s out of it. I saw that in another topic. Hopefully that will help out. If any other ideas let me know.
Thanks Again,
Paula

Which really isnt alot but I only get 2mb on my server before I pay extra. I would change servers but I paid for a year already. I did take the db_sconnect and took the s out of it. First off, hello everyone. I'm new.
Second, I didn't have 2.3, I started with the 2.4 purchase. And this doesn't seem to have an install.php file in it?
