When I run howto-install.php i get this
"How to install SourceGuardian loaders
Server-wide setup
1. Download ixed4.lin.x86-32.tar.gz (for Intel x86 32-bit processor) or ixed4.lin.x86-64.tar.gz (for Intel x86 64-bit processor)
2. Extract it to folder /home/plasmaho/public_html/12random
3. Edit PHP.INI file (located at /usr/local/Zend/etc/php.ini) and add following line:
extension=ixed.5.1.lin
Run-time loading
1. Download ixed4.lin.x86-32.tar.gz (for Intel x86 32-bit processor) or ixed4.lin.x86-64.tar.gz (for Intel x86 64-bit processor)
2. Extract it to folder /home/plasmaho/public_html/12random/ixed/"
So I am doing the Run-time loading because im using shared hosting. I download the folder and upload it to the place it tells me and i get this.
"Fatal error: SourceGuardian Loader - script was encoded for another version of zend engine in /home/plasmaho/public_html/12random/index.php on line 2"
The folder i downloaded comes with 18 files all ixed.x.x.lin and i copied all of them. One thing i didnt do was try the 64-bit version I am going to try that now I will reply back after I try that. |

I tried the 64-bit version and now I get this error message
"Warning: dl() [function.dl]: Unable to load dynamic library './/../../../../home/plasmaho/public_html/12random/ixed/ixed.5.1.lin' - .//../../../../home/plasmaho/public_html/12random/ixed/ixed.5.1.lin: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory in /home/plasmaho/public_html/12random/install.php on line 2
PHP script /home/plasmaho/public_html/12random/install.php is protected by SourceGuardian and requires the SourceGuardian loader ixed.5.1.lin. The SourceGuardian loader has not been installed, or is not installed correctly. Please visit the SourceGuardian php encoder site to download required loader."
I checked and I do have the ixed.5.1.lin in the folder /home/plasmaho/public_html/12random/ixed |

Im pretty sure the 32-bit version is the one i need. When I open howto-install.php it says the loaders are installed correctly but when i open install.php it says

All right I installed PHP 4.4 instead of PHP 5.1 and now it seems to work. I get some funky messages when i go to install.php tho check this out:

that is the text on the first page in install.php, you should add support for the newest PHP version when you come out with version 4 of TheRandomizer. Im going to install this script and hopefully those error messages dont mean anything. |

| I need hosting that works with this script, and I see you have hosting but you have to pay for a full year up front. Is their anyway I can get like a paypal subscription so I pay 1 month at a time? |

Hey napkin,
I am a forum admin but I don't have access to the hosting, you should use the contact form in order to get a hold of Manish, I'm not sure how active he is in the forums now that I have taken on this role as admin. He's very busy running several online businesses including this one, My suggestion for you is to contact him using the contact form on the homepage here and ask him there.

| I think i might be able to host it on a server I have at my house but I need my key to be reactivated. There was some problem with the username passwords for MySQL they had to be set using OLD_PASSWORD function or something wierd like that so the install didnt finish and now my key wont work. I need my key to be renewed or w/e. My user account is wmheld |

Hey napkin, someone has changed the login information I have to be able to do that, I will need to email Manish about this and see what happend. I will let you know when he replies.

ok thanks, im so glad you respond so quickly  , I am pumped about getting this site up and running
Now when i go to the index.php page it says "Could not get the config variables from the database :SELECT * FROM tr_config" which im guessing means I have MySQL working but there is nothing in the database because when I did the install it couldnt connect to MySQL and thus the database is empty?
Oh ya and Im still getting that long list of error messages when I go to install.php and im hoping i dont have errors like that once its done installing. Any idea whats causing those. The install seemed to work just fine besides the fact that I had MySQL screwed up. |
