I don't have a clue how to fix this one.
Please could someone help me.

I am really sorry to hear that.
It seems that your PHP version is from the last century
There is still hope for you:
- you can update(ask your host to) the PHP version-recommended!
- you can enter the IP2Country database manually-you will find it on
http://ip-to-country.webhosting.info -including tutorials-yes,it's free!

Just to let you know flat man 4.1.2 is a pretty old version of php. I just installed 4.3.4 on my server and 5.0 is supposed to be out in a couple of months.
