I bought the Randomizer a few years back but have always had problems with it. For several months now I've being "trying" to contact Manish to seek his help with the script...with No Success!
Last week as a last attempt to sort things out with the script, I had a programmer look at the scrip...After running the script he recommends I buy another Randomizer script from another programmer as this one has so many bugs it would cost me to much to have the script sorted-out! The Australian programmer says, "it would be quicker and less exspensive if I had a new Randomizer script created by another programmer!
So I guess I'll just have to dump this Randomizer from Manish and kiss the money I paid for it goodby...Put this down to experence and get on with life.
Pity about that but that's life I guess, some people are in such need of money they promote products "before" the product has been tested in full!
And it now looks to me like this Randomizer is one such product.

G'day Jim,
I'm trying to run 3.7 with PHP 5, it seems to install okay but when I try logging in I get a 500 error message:
The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request.
It could have something to do with the CHMOD setting for the script but I'm not sure, I'm running a lot of scripts and databases from that site but Randomizer is the only one that is causing me a problem.
Funny thing is, things were okay till I updated to 3.7, that's when my problems began.
I was hoping Manish would have shown-up by now but as that does not seem to be the case, then I'm thinking perhaps he's ill. Manish struck me as an honest person so it must be something serious that is keeping him away. I myself had a massive heart attack so I know what I'm talking about when I say, my businesses were the last thing I was thinking about at that time in my life! I only hope nothing so bad has befallen Manish.
Whatever it is, I hope he gets over it soon and shows up to help/advise us.
Cheers Jim,
Bill

Hey Bill
Sorry to hear about your problems. If you are still facing 500 internal server errors, here is a simple checklist you can follow. If the issue is still not fixed, please PM me and I will look into your account.
1. Make sure no folder has 777 permission.
2. Make sure no files have 777 permission.
3. Try deleting the .htaccess file (keep a backup, also /aff/ url redirection will stop working if you delete .htaccess file). |

Hello Manish,
I still can't publish the script, I checked all folders and files to make sure non are chmod 777 and I have deleted the .htaccess and aff file but I still get the message:
Warning: dl() [function.dl]: Temporary module name should contain only filename in /home3/aceprofe/public_html/downlinepower.com/install.php on line 2
PHP script /home3/aceprofe/public_html/downlinepower.com/install.php is protected by SourceGuardian and requires the SourceGuardian loader ixed.5.2.lin. The SourceGuardian loader has not been installed, or is not installed correctly. Please visit the SourceGuardian php encoder site to download required loader.
I've had enough for now, it's almost 12.30am and as I said, I'm getting no joy from installing the script.
Any ideas you may have on why I can not run the install would be most welcome.
Regards,
Bill

Hi Bill
Thanks for the updates. I am sorry to know that the script is still not working. I got the same error when I was trying to fix the sourceguardian issue on our demo script. I ran the howto-install.php diagnostic script which suggested the dynamic loading of libraries is disabled on our server. As a result, the sourceguardian ixed loaders need to be installed on the server. The server specific instruction are produced by the howto script.
You can download the diagnostic script at http://www.sourceguardian.com/ixeds/sg4-howto-install.zip
Unzip the contents and upload the same to your site. Run the howto-install.php file and send the installation instruction to your hosting company. It usually takes 2 mins to finish the installation.
If for some reason your hosting company cannot install the ixed loaders on the server, feel free to message me back and I will be more than glad to host you at matched rates (had 100% uptime for past 3 months).
Regards
Manish |

G'day Manish,
I believe my problem is caused because the "files" have the wrong CHMOD permissions set. I've checked every folder and every file, and I found "all" folders are set to 755...That looks right to me but...I also found "all files" are set to 755 and I don't believe the file settings is correct.
What should the permission be for the "files"? Let me know and I'll reset the CHMOD for all files. If that fails...I'll let you know
Best regards,
Bill
