Catastrophe!!

We have experienced that many prospects was not able to finish the sign up process because some of our members had not filled in their data for all the 4 payment processors we make use of.
After asking the members to do so, and that didn't seems to happen, I went to the database to solve the problem manually.
HORROR!! More than 50% of the members had not filled in the needed info!
SURPRISE!! I was one of them!!!!!

Being 100% positive I had filled in my own needed information, I went to my account and yes - All needed information was in the correct fields!! The info has "just" not recorded in the database!!!

I have tested this several times now - both ways.

I have edited the info in the payment processor fields within my person account
- No changes in the database!

I have edited the info manually in the database
- No change in the payment processor fields with in my personal account!

What the .... is going on. This is an absolutely vital function and it sure seems not to work.

Can this have been caused by deleting PayPal as processor and then bring it back on again?
It also seems like we can make it work by flushing the tr_payment_gateways table and then let the members re-enter their data from their account.

We are losing sign ups every hour.

PLEASE HELP

Hey PixieHouse,

This is a very big problem indeed!!! I will shoot Manish an email right now and see how quickly he can get us a fix. I'm truely sorry about this, I wonder why no one else has reported similar results? In any case I will have Manish look into this further and bring back a response!

Hi,

I just tested the demo on my local machine, the database is updating fine.

Are you sure you are looking at the right database? If you are able to fetch records from within your account in the script, it has to come from a database. There is no place in the script to store this information. Please check your db_connect.php file for the database name.

Let me know if you still have issues.

Thanks
Manish
