As soon as I run the install program I get this message:

extension_dir does not exists /usr/local/nf/php5/lib/php/extensions/no-debug-non-zts-20041030

I know I have all the requirements to run the script.

Apache/1.3.26 (Unix) mod_perl/1.26 server, php ver 5.0.5+, MySQL 4.1.12

Why do I get this error?
If I run a PHPInfo extension_dir is there, so I have no idea why I would get this error.

Please help .

Hi mikendeb1202,

Very good question indeed! I'm stumped, but you should download this script http://www.sourceguardian.com/ixeds/sg4-howto-install.zip
and see what it tells ya, that would be a good first start! If you get no errors, please send Manish an email from the contact form on the main page of this website. Just unzip the file, and place in in the webroot, or wherever the script is installed, then go to your browser and type in the web address such as www.myrandomizer.com/howto-install.php and click go, then the script will be ran and tell you what needs to be done to correct the problem!

Thanks,
Chris

Well I tried that and here is what I get now:

How to install SourceGuardian loaders
Server-wide setup
Server-wide setup is not possible because of extension_dir does not exists.

Run-time loading
Run-time loading is not possible because of extension_dir does not exists.
Use server-wide setup or re-configure PHP engine.

I contacted mt host to find out if it is on their side.

I would really like to get this up and running, I was running on a different script that really sucked wind, but the I had seen this script and out of all the randomizer scripts this one looked to be the best.

Thanks
Mike n Deb

Hello Mike n Deb,

Its a problem with your server. The PHP installation on your server is not correct. You must contact your webhost and let them know the problem.

Thanks and regards

Yup, heard back from my host this morning.
Apparently thae script requires Ion Cube Loader to install and operate, which I did not see stated anywhere in the system requirements.

Thanks for the help.

To my knowledge it doesn't need IonCube since we use SourceGuardian for the protection, I know the reseller you bought it from, and they have the SG version, I dont know anyone selling it with IonCube, so your host is probably mistaken.

You purchased from http://www.therandomizerscript.com right?
He has the SG protection on it, not IonCube...Maybe Manish can shed some light on this?

Well, yes that was the site I purchased the script from.

Here's what I got in a response from my host:
Quote:

Hello,

Thank-you for expressing an interest in this feature.

The error message you are receiving:
that no-debug-non-zts does not exist means that IonCube Loader is not installed.

At the moment, we do not offer IonCube Loader. It has been added to our list of client requested features and may be included in a future service upgrade. Thank-you for your suggestion.

According to them that's what the message I get is, but they could be wrong.
I'm not real familiar with IonCube, The last time I heard of it being used was when I owned a Paid to Read Emails site.

So even if I didn't by the script from Manish, he could still help me out?

p.s. I put my old script back in place for now, you can see that one at crazycash4all.com, don't laugh too hard. LOL
We don't mind...

Manish nor I mind helping anyone! Well you can always purchase hosting from Manish or find a compatible host to serve the script from, you can have your license reset and then install it on a new server, unless you want to wait for them to fix the problem, but I am pretty sure it's not because of IonCube!

I got another host for the script, now I just need to wait for the domain transfer. Then hopefully all will be set.

Thanks for all your help
