Seems I can't login to any of the demo accounts.. I'd sure like to see what the admin area looks like before i buy..
Also, other people on this board seem to not get their script in a timely manner. Does anyone have any idea how long it would take to get my script if i purchased today?
thanks in advance..

Hi, it appears that someone has changed the admin area settings, I can't change it back, only Manish can, however I can let you into my demo site at http://www.moneymachinerandomizer.com login details are on the homepage. You will get the script and license as soon as payment is verified, you need to have a verified account with the payment processor or your order may be delayed while we verify your funds.

Hello,
thanks for the quick reply, chris. however, you say i 'need to have a verified account with the payment processor'. i was planning on using e-gold, and i havn't seen anything about how to 'verify' an e-gold account?
also, i was wondering if someone could tell me about this weighting system. like, how does the weight correspond with the likeliness of someone getting picked? for example, if i give someone 250 weight units, what percent more likely are they to get picked? perhaps this is clearly stated somewhere and i just missed it...?
anyway, thanks in advance again

No Problem MYZ,
I don't take the payments for Manish, I am able to assist in issueing and resetting license keys at the moment, I was a reseller for him and now help him here. As far as egold, I don't personally recommend them as they are easily hackable and are not reliable, but I think he accepts them as payment.
The weight I am unsure of as far as percentage, I know that the more weight you have the more likely you are to get picked for payment out of the bunch. Their might be a thread that answers this already and I have missed it, but you can do a search and see, if not, email Manish about it!

Hi,
As for e-gold, you can always make a purchase of the license using e-gold from www.therandomizer.net/order.php
Since e-gold is relatively safer, we do not enforce the "verification" or "paid email id" requirements.
As for the demo, it will be fixed in an hour or so. A tech support guy is already been emailed about the issue.
About weights... when a member buys 250 weights, he becomes equivalent to 250 members of weight 1 on your site. For eg, if your site has 450 members each having weight 1, say a new member (member number 451) signs up and adds additional 250 weights to himself, his total weight will be 251 (250 + 1 weight he gets by default). His chances of selection will now become 251/701 or 35% approximately. |

wow you guys are really doing a great job helping on this board! thanks a bunch!!
just one more thing... i was thinking about splitting a randomizer into 2 groups, for people who want to play straight (no weights), and those that want to play dirty (tons of weights ).
my questions is would i have to buy 2 licenses? i would put them on the same domain it would just be different location you know?
thanks again!

Hi MYZ,
Yes, you would need to buy 2 seperate licenses, one for each install, one can reside in the webroot and perhaps one in a subfolder of the domain.

These guys are awesome. You'll find they will be able to answer your questions pretty quickly - and provide the help you need.
This is a good question though. About splitting the system into two - but why not just have two seperate programs and create a webpage that directs them to the site they want.
I know with my web hosting you can create subdomains - check your provider - it could look something like this:
yourdomain.com Main entry to sites
script1.yourdomain.com (single weght only)
script2.yourdomain.com (increased weight)
Hope this helps! |
