I have been trying to figure out the URL issue.

I am using http://www.easy-cash-flow.com/promo.php?from=torr61 as my test (actual user). But after getting to the site, I click on JOIN NOW but the Sponsor is not torr61 - it is someone else. Wouldn't the person who joins using that URL be Sponsored by torr61? After logging in with torr61, I notice that the stats show a hit.

My other issue is how do I change the Header to read Easy-Cash-Flow.com instead of TheRandomizer.net? It is confusing some of the visitors to both names on the same site. Confuses me too! Smile

Hi, it's Chris, The url for members to promote is http://www.whatever.com/promo.php?from=member

Try to clear all cookies before attempting to test this feature, if there is a cookie stored on your computer with other details, trying this url won't work, you need to first clear all cache and cookies and then testing the url.

As for the header, you can replace it yourself in the /rimages folder as header1.swf, if you are familiar with editing swf files, I know you have paid for a custom flash header, so email Manish and let him know which one you'd like and what you'd like to have it say from these choices: http://www.therandomizer.net/headers.htm or http://www.gotoweb.net/headers.htm

The email portion of the site finally works, maybe Manish was able to figure it out or maybe it just worked itself out. But in any case, after I added %affiliateurl% to a test email, and then used THAT when I got the email, it worked. It appears to bring forward the username into the JOIN NOW feature. But I won't know til someone joins to be certain. But I have gone through all my advertisers and updated the link.

As for the header, I was able to figure out how to change the name, that was simple. And there are actually a few of the banners on the first link you sent me that I like. When I have time on Monday I will look closer at the other link (appears to be more or different ones there). I would like the ability to alter the sites look from time to time to give it a fresher appearance.

I sent Manish an email from the Contact Us page about this. I am sure I will hear back from him.

Thanks for all the help! It is greatly appreciated!

There are a few other things, but before I ask them I will read the forum, as I saw an answer to a few of them there and will attempt to work on them.

One last question though...

Most of the site is in PHP format, and graphics are swf - what programs can edit these files?
Search Google

I would do a search on Google for " edit swf" and it should pull up software able to do it, but if you haven't used them before, it may be difficult to just try it out by yourself!

I guess I need to learn it sooner or later, so maybe I will download the directory and play with that as trial. That way I don't mess up everything.
