Shadow answered part of this question on Tips &Tricks, but I want to elaborate since I am now faced with some of these issues.
You need to find a Hosting service that:
Can handle PHP, MySql, and preferably is running Unix/Apache.
This script does not do well with IIS/Microsoft servers, and not to fault Daniel, because these issues are well documented with Microsoft servers and PHP problems.
Shadow suggested I get a lot of bandwidth, because he blew through his with good advertising. Which begs the next question, how did you advertise??
I"m currently using Phoenixrising-web Hosting service. They have both IIS/Microsoft servers (the one I'm currently on and hopefully will be migrated to Apache soon!) and Unix/Apache. You have to tell them the one you want. They had a problem with my signup, so they chose it for me.....urrrrrhhh!!
I found a quick fix, but need to refine it so it is universal throughout the script.
Any other tips and tricks are much appreciated. |
