Hello I recently purchased the Cash Randomiser Pro from Tapscripts and they have sent me here as I am wanting to know about some issues which they seem to think you people should answer.

1. How do I change the header image?

2. How do I add images, when I use the html editor it wont let me upload an image and just only a reference to a url that could contain image..that is just no good at all!
How can I place images on my pages?
Is there something I can do using CPanel? I dont know how do upload and install a simple image?

3. The html webpage editor will not open to full size when you request it by cliking on the appropriate button I have tried in both Firefox and in IE Explorer.

4. How do protect members from unethical websites such as p**n and scammers and virus sites?

Regards,
hojusaram.

Hello hojusaram,
First off the header image is a file in the /templates/php folder names header1.swf, and that can be replaced with another file named the same, if you are trying to replace the image with a different file type, then I don't know off hand if that can be changed, Im sure it can, I would just have to look into the code and see where it would have to be modified to point to the image you wanted to replace it with.

As far as adding pictures to the site, that is easily done by clicking the appropriate picture Icon and then pointing it to where the picture resides on your server.

The HTML editor is very easy to use, I know nothing about HTML, but the editor is a WYSIWYG, so it's very easy to operate knowing nothing about HTML, it also allows for advanced HTML Editing if you know what you're doing. There is no way to get it to open a full sized window like a web browser.

As far as the unethical websites such as p**n and scammers and virus sites, this is tricky, there is nothing in the script that can do this for you, I don't know of any script that does, so you just have to monitor your programs and advise your clients to keep virus/spyware protection updated, and even send them to a site that does virus/spyware protection in case they don't already have one. p**n is on the net, no doubt about that, it's very popular and rampid, so you have to keep an eye on your programs and the members banner ads yourself, and post a strict zero tollerance for that kinda stuff, make sure they understand your policy before they join.

These are just some things you can do to help protect yourself and your name, hope it helps.

PS. I also added you to my Yahoo IM Buddy list, it will either show up as Chris Morris or Zapaholic, my Yahoo IM id is zapdaily.

Chris
Still further issues with script.

Last night I could not access the script do any editing and again today all day. I spent hours on making the pages. I made a back up and then it would not restore the back up today? Also you cant delet the languages. for example I live in Korea but Im Australian so I added Australian and Korean to the languages and then when I edited the pages in the original (english) which is actually American the site could not be viewed in Korea or Australia or any other language by country.
So I wanted to delete the Australian and Korean and it will not allow me as there is no function to delete? Thats weird.
Next back ups, I attempted backups which I was emailed and it said it was succeful but when I reloaded it to the site it refused to work at all today. kept spewingout some rubbish about IP country or some such rubbish.

Anyway the result I have a script that does not work, the tapscript people want to reload it, but I dont want it if Im going to have all these hassles with it, especially the issue about passwords thats a BIG problem.

I am also a bit annoyed at the back passing that goes on, Imean I purchased the script from them and they keep sending me here when it is they that should be fixing this problem not me, the product has not been fullfilled its stated aims on which it was sold to me at all so far.
I still cannot add any images to my system or my webpages

To add images upload them to your server and here is the HTML code.
<img src="IMAGE URL">

You will need to contact your hosting provider to upload images because that is not part of the script. You can always search the internet for FTP tutorials. Alternately you can use the file manager in cPanel, click on the folder icon to navigate and the files are in public_html

For more information on HTML code, you may check Learn HTML

If you want to add images in your pages. Follow these steps

1. Upload the images in a publicly accessible folder of your site via FTP (usually the folder name is www or public_html)

2. Obtain the link of this recently uploaded images (generally it is domain.com/your-image-file-name)

3. Click on the image button in the HTML editor inside your admin area.

4. Enter the image URL and alternate text.

Best regards
Manish
