Hi
I need some urgent help here.
Since the DDOS attack my mailer has decided to stop working.
Everytime I try and send a message, after about 10% uploading I get a page not found message and only a few messages are being sent out.
Can anyone please help here?
On another note how and where can I find my members email addresses from the host control panel and can I mail my database from here, if so how?
One last problem about the mailer. I have been told by some of my members that they only get part messages after I send them, like only the first 1/4 of each message and a couple have said the get blank messages with no content, any ideas on this one and how to fix it?
Thanks

Hey rob57, those are definately questions only Manish would be able to answer, he should be getting back to you shortly on this issue, what I would do is email him directly via his contact form and alert him of this issue. I heard from him that they did get hit with a DDOS Attack, and they needed to switch ip address's of the server in order to fix the problem, I don't know if that has caused issues with the mailing system or not. But in any event, please email Manish, he stated that they should have the internet installed and working very shortly in his new place, but he was in his old town to check his emails and run his business until it's finished. I wish there was more I could tell you or solve the problem, but I don't know what the solution would be or how to fix it.

Hi Rob,
There is nothing on the server that has changed since the DDOS attack except the main IP. The old IP has been blocked. However this should not stop the mail server from sending/receiving emails.
Can you email me your cpanel username/password and randomizer admin username/password so that I can check this for you? Please email me the details at manish@therandomizer.net
I did a small test on this site itself which is hosted on the same server and was able to send mails via the PHP mailer.
Cheers!
Manish |
