I am the admin of randompay.net, and I got this mail today.
Is the script Secure ?
"I received a spam today, someone\'s lame attempt to hack at my pc. It was
sent to the address I provided here for AssuredPay account payments, a
unique address used nowhere else. So, it would appear that someone there
(with your service), or someone that acquired access to your member info
database, sent it. This significantly reduces my sense of credibility and
reliability in the service. Please assure me that RandomPay.net had nothing
to do with the spam, and maintains strict security policies regarding the
member provided info. Thank you" |

Hi Ivanmort,
When I signed up for assured pay I created an email address just for them. Although their privacy policy says that they don't provide it to third parties before I listed my email anywhere else I received an email from a third party. I would advise your customer to set up another email address at assuredpay but not anywhere else and he will still see an occassional email come to that address. How or why I am not sure but it does happen.
Also you should ask him for a copy of the "Spam" email with complete header so you can see where it came from.
