There seems to be a problem with advertising the referral links and I would like to know if anyone else has noticed this problem as well.

I notice this in the paid to read advertisements. Submitting an ad for the randomizer that conatins your referral link does not result in your name displaying as the sponsor. I also notice that even the same ad being shown will even result in several different people as sponsor which varies from day to day. If you are lucky, your name will display as sponsor.

Could this be explained and fixed? All information in the users area is correct.

Hi,

There can be a problem with referral tracking if your advertising site uses frames. This is not a bug but a security feature used by all browsers.

The cookie set by one domain name cannot be accessed by another domain name. This is what happens in case of a site runs under frames.

The only (temporary) solution to this problem is to insert the referral id in the join now link. However the affiliate information in this case will be lost once the window is closed.

The safest way is to avoid advertisments programs running ads in frames!

Best regards,
Manish Singh
