higher levels of weight become available to higher levels of access purchase... and so do other features...
So instead of making it a free for all, do something like :
E.g.
Free Trial = 1 entry into the DB.
Completely free, no charge, no banner ads, no text ads.
and only one cycle in the the DB.
You then split the different amounts of weight you can purchase
that only becomes available for different levels of membership.
Service levels example :
Level 0 - Free trial.
1 weight = free
no banners
no text ads,
no commission (IE, no payment gateway access), just a demo.
(to bring the punters in easy).
and your page becomes an $0 randomizer. Just a demo.
Level 1 -
Up to 10 weight you can purchase = $8
+banners + text ads
(limited amount of).
and your page becomes an $8 randomizer.
Level 2 -
Up to 20 weight you can purchase = $15
+banners + text ads
(limited amount of+more).
and your page becomes an $15 randomizer.
and so on ...
and just keep it as a upwards based sliding scale.
Or something like that.
What do you think of that idea?

Free trial users have the ability to see how many referrals they've made
and bingo ..
you got yourself a much more feature_filled service
which your punters will love. |

I think this is a GREAT idea and I won't mind to see it in action 
But I just don't understand one thing:
The payment usually goes sponsor-random-admin, and the admin sets the fees.
In your version, Tom, would the fees be lower?
If someone signups through a "Gold Member" link will pay more than from a "Silver Member"?
Anyway, great idea, and I just can't wait to see 3.0 too. |

this idea won't work because of that.

if you want more than one randomzier,
just setup more than one!
and don't intermingle the two.  |

hm... let them choose wich "lével" they want to join...
then the random payment will be randomized in that choosen level only.
sponsor will get the sponsor-payment.
but this works only if sponsor & admin fee is equal.
... or/and higher levels get free entree in all lower levels.
(more accounts for higher levels = more chances, more banner, more ads, more...)
let's play with this idea a little more...  |
