I have had numerous uprades for The Randomizer but I haven't installed any of them because of the lack of upgrade instructions with the product. Unless I'm blind in some way..which is possible...but unless I am...I can only find fresh installation instructions. Obviously, upgrading poses questions that new installation instructions can't provide answers for and I can't afford to just barrle in with my eyes closed.
For example,
Do I need to back up my mysql database?
Do I need to re-run the installation or just copy the files to my server over the old ones?
Do I have to go through the license registration again (btw..the first time through did not go well and I'm hesitant to upgrade if I have to go through it all again)
Does the new version delete all current data in the database?
I have 300 members...will any of the current data be compromised?
Can I pay you to upgrade for me, so I know it's done right and error free?
