Problems with PXP

Hey folks.

I really hate coming here with problems all the time, but I have run into one that is rather interesting.

We are running Linux Redhat 9.0 with PHP 4.3.6

We have been having some minor problems getting the setup running, but I have found most of the answers here. One of which was we were on the wrong version of PHP. We have up graded this and now are getting an error I can't find an answer to.

PHP script /var/www/instantpayment/index.php is protected by SourceGuardian and requires file ixed.lin.4.3.6.pxp.
Please read SourceGuardian protected scripts manual

We went to Source Guardian and downloaded the updated loaders, installed them and updated the PHP.INI file as suggested. However I am still getting the same error. The file ixed.lin.4.3.6.pxp is in the folder and everything else is set.

Anyone have a fix for this?

Thanks
Jay

I am not an expert on any of this but I had a problem getting the whole script to run do to those Sourceguard files and it was all due to uploading them in ASCII instead of Binary via my FTP Client. Once I uploaded them in binary the installation went smooth.

Just a thought.

This problem occurs when the script is not able to find the .pxp files in /ixed folder.

Possible reasons for the same are

1. .pxp files were uploaded in ASCII mode instead of binary
2. PHP is running in safe mode
3. Dynamic Inclusion of libraries is disabled by your webhost.
