Hello
I just got ver 2.3 and everything was working fine.
Now when I ad a new user the email comes back unreadable.
Does anyone have this problem?
I input the text in the admin area just using plain text
and also used the html button to insert it.
Hope someone can help

In the welcome email you must use text only.
To do this
Type your welcome email in notepad and copy it
(highlight right click copy)
Login to your admin area and when you get to the "Site Content" link
and click on "The Welcome Email " Click on the <> to go into html settings and paste your message.
It seems like you are not able to use any html format for the emails.
If anyone can put in html formatting let me know.
Aloha

Will that also help with the \' problem?
Thanks!

I know Daniel had a fix for this and I just read that the DB for the forum here was restored to an older version. Perhaps Daniel could post that code again? I never changed it becuase I thought mine was fine. Now I get tons of people freaking out because the emails are in MIME Alien Code!
Thanks!

I tried this, however the emails received are all scrunched up, not formatted properly. There has to be a fix for this. Any other suggestions?

Yeah, this is probably one of the biggest issues I have right now. A copy of that little script that needs to be put in somewhere would be nice. Where is everyone? Shadow? Daniel? Too much turkey??!

Thanks |

If you are using V2.4 you shouldn't have this problem if you aren't then I would reccommend that you upgrade.
