Hi folks,
I must be really stupid. I ordered the script because it said "easy install".
I can't get beyond the first 2 steps in the "read me" file. It says edit the
db_... and the config files but I click to open them I get a microsoft
greetings/grahpics logo window and another message box alerting me
that my printer is not configured for the right size paper??? That can't possibly have anything to do with it, can it? Whatever, it's keeping me from opening the files... same with all the files.
I tried to go with it and reconfigure what it asked but it says I cannot
because I do not have access to the software the program was written with.
Can anyone shed some light on this? Please???
I emailed admin, no answer yet.

You can edit it using notepad to edit the files. I had the same problem. However, I used Adobe GoLive but I also just opened it with Notepad. They should tell you which programs can open and edit the files with. I have spent over $1500 on advertisements (mostly banners) but I am finding Paid2Read Emails are working much better and is much cheaper. E-mail me if you need help in advertisements. I also recomend applying for the Seal of Approval at http://www.randomizercentral.com/ . Please e-mail me the URL of your site for I am looking for good ones to belong to. I was going to launch anotherone in the new year. I just bought the domain now just waiting to get money to buy another copy of the script.

Your response is greatly appreciated. I figured it had to be something
simple. Yes it would be helpful if the "read me" text made mention of
what editor to use.
Also, thanks for the advetising tips, very helpful. I'll send you a PM
with my URL and ask for yours.
I noticed some ideas in the tips section
on the forum. It's a good idea for Randomizer webmasters to join
forces, as people who like randomizers often join many.
